Japanese Bokken Aka Kashi Kenmine
Bokken Akakashi Kenmine - Made in Japan!
A dream in red - the Japanese bokken Aka Kashi in the deluxe KENMINE version . It is 101.5 cm long and made from the best Japanese red oak. In this version, the bokuto has a mune (ridge) on the back of the blade and the end of the handle is gently rounded (hanmaru). The wooden sword is not lacquered, is very well balanced and the fine wood structure is a visual and tactile feast. Over the years, the bokken acquires a beautiful patina and, with its colour and the odd dent or two, bears witness to the increasing experience of its owner.
The general shape of the bokken is hiramine (with a flat blade back), the handle end is tsukagashira (flat). The bokken is delivered WITHOUT tsuba and tsubadome!
