Bokken Akakashi Hiramine - Made in Japan!
Japanese red oak is the material of choice for this bokken - the Japanese bokken Aka Kashi Hiramine. 101.5 cm long and made from the best Japanese red oak, our bokuto fulfils all the requirements for a long Budo life. The wooden sword is unvarnished, very well balanced and the fine wood structure is a feast for the eyes and the touch. Over the years, the bokken acquires a beautiful patina and, with its colour and the odd dent or two, bears witness to the increasing experience of its owner.
The general shape of the bokken is hiramine (with a flat blade back), the handle end is tsukagashira (flat). The bokken is delivered WITHOUT tsuba and tsubadome!
