Exclusive kendo hakama in #8800 fabric quality

This hakama is made exclusively for Kendo24 in a firm #8800 fabric quality, which makes it particularly durable and resistant. Made from 100% cotton and Aizome (indigo) dyed, it not only offers the highest wearing comfort, but also a remarkable colour intensity. Unlike conventional dyeing processes, the thread in this hakama is dyed before processing. As a result, the colour penetrates the thread completely and makes the fabric extremely colourfast.

Another highlight: the folds of the hakama are stitched on the inside edge, which makes it much easier to fold and ensures that the folds stay in shape even after intensive training.

Important: As Aizome (indigo) is not fixed after dyeing, the fabric can rub off on other objects - so blue fingers are a real possibility!

Washing recommendation: I recommend washing the hakama exclusively by hand in the bathtub. A generous amount of vinegar in the wash water helps to minimise colour loss and gradually fix the colour. Then hang the hakama in the shade to dry.
