CO2-neutral Shipping
We strive for 100% climate neutral shipping. At present, we are not yet able to achieve this completely, as we have to use parcel service providers for some parcels, who do not yet provide certified compensation for the greenhouse gases caused by the transport.
We send the majority of our parcels for Germany and Europe with GLS Germany. Since 01.10.2019 this company has been delivering all parcels 100% climate neutral. CO2 emissions caused by transport and business activities are compensated by PRIMAKLIMA e.V. through a certified reforestation and forest protection project (VCS/CCB standard).
The non-profit association protects existing forests and plants new trees around the globe for climate protection. The focus is always on involving the local population and creating new perspectives.
GLS is currently supporting a project in Indonesia certified according to VCS/CCB standards for the protection of peat swamp forests.
